Many people feel that killing convicted murderers will satisfy their need for justice and/or vengeance. They feel that certain crimes are so heinous that executing the criminal is the only reasonable response.I think that permitting premeditated murder is totally unacceptable, even if committed by the state.
Capital punishment lowers the value of human life as seen by the general population and brutalizes society. It is based on a need for revenge.

A Oração da Paz é atribuída a São Francisco de Assis e comumente denominada de Oração de São Francisco, esta oração anônima foi escrita no início do século XX tendo aparecido inicialmente em 1912 num boletim espiritual em Paris, França, em 1916 foi impressa em Roma numa folha, em que num verso estava a oração e no outro verso da folha foi impresso uma estampa de São Francisco; por isto e pelo fato de que o texto reflete muito bem o franciscanismo esta oração começou a ser divulgada como se fosse de autoria do santo.
Paz's Prayer is attributed to San Francisco of Assis and commonly denominated of Prayer of San Francisco, this anonymous prayer was written in the beginning of the century XX having appeared initially in 1912 in a spiritual bulletin in Paris, France, in 1916 was printed in Rome in a leaf, in that in a verse was the prayer and in the other verse of the leaf a print of San Francisco was printed; for this and for the fact that the text reflects the franciscanismo very well this prayer began to be published as if it went of the saint's authorship.

To day I am a very happy I have received a wonderful belated gift from my husband, I am going on a cruise pilgrimage to the Holy land.Its going to be wonderful to re live the Bible stories! I am going through Athens,Corinth,Ephesus, Patmos, Rhodes, Cyprus,Jerusalem and Galilee. As I embark on my journey I will be thinking of you and the folks who have joined up for a better world.
I will lift you all in prayers. It is wonderful what Alessandro has set up and I thank God for all that you do. May the lord keep blessing us all.
